The acquisition deepens Cadastra’s specialist multidisciplinary offering and reinforces the company’s presence in Latin America.
Cadastra, a global marketing, technology, business strategy, data and analytics solutions company announces the acquisition of the e-commerce agency M3.
M3 is one of the leading technology integrators for digital commerce in Brazil and Latin America. The operation aims to leverage the international expansion of Cadastra (which already has an office in the United Kingdom covering the EMEA market) and the provision of technical infrastructure services for e-commerce, further strengthening its hybrid and multidisciplinary offering for brands investing in the new economy. The acquisition and subsequent integration of M3 into Cadastra will create a new company with 600 professionals across five countries. The deal was advised by Pipeline Capital Tech, a global mergers and acquisitions company, and MCS Markup for due diligence.
Thiago Bacchin, the CEO and founder of Cadastra, “we found in M3 a partner with expertise and capabilities that are very complementary to those of Cadastra. They already have a presence, clients and projects in progress in the main markets of Latin America, thus acting as a channel to expand our own services. M3 also deepens our strategic performance in e-commerce by allowing us to carry out implementation across necessary technologies”.
With a team of 125 professionals (80 developers), M3 has particular focus on VTEX software, also being the quadrant leader among the platform service providers in Brazil and Latin America. The agency has an established operation in Latin America with offices in Argentina, Colombia and Mexico. It works with clients such as Carrefour, Allied, Crocs, Coppel, KPMG, Saint Gobain and VTEX itself. M3 has already received relevant recognition from VTEX as Outstanding Agency of 2020, Diamond Certificate and Grand Prix Award, in addition to winning the VTEX Day Hackathon in 2022.
Founder of M3, Pablo Ribeiro, points out that “when implementing or improving technologies for digital commerce, clients have identified – even demanded – solutions in data, market intelligence, performance and digital marketing. Now, we will be able to provide our customers with a 360° range of solutions, accelerating our growth. We also had plans of starting an operation in Europe, which Cadastra already has, providing another great opportunity for joint growth”.
Cadastra’s CEO Thiago Bacchin adds that “the acquisition of M3 is part of our non-organic expansion plan. We have other acquisitions under analysis, which all add to our objective of complementing the existing portfolio and consolidating our global operation”.
